Instructions For Using Real Estate Inquiry

IS THIS PAGE HARDER THAN THE OLD PAGE? The answer is NO, it is actually easier than the old page once you understand how to use it. You do NOT need to fill in EVERY piece of information to run this search. Just type whatever you have: Owner Name, Parcel Number (Use Dashes) or Street Address in the appropriate column and click GO. After you have found the parcel that you're looking for, go all the way to the right hand side and click the DETAILS link. This will take you to the regular taxes page that you will be familiar with.

The inquiry will also allow the user to select additional parameters not available in the traditional search. Class of parcel such as Agricultural, Industrial, Residential etc. is an option as well as value ranges of Acreage, Land, Improvement and Agricultural.  Another very important feature about this inquiry is the ability to sort on any column by clicking it.  Clicking this column a second time will sort it in a descending order.  So for instance if you wanted to find out what parcels had the most acreage within the Agricultural Class, you would select Agricultural for Class, Entire County for Taxing District, leave everything else blank and click Go.  After the search results appear on the screen, click the Acreage Column once to see the Acreage parcels from lowest to highest.  You could then click it again to sort it highest to lowest.  This would give the user all Agricultural parcels with the highest Acreage appearing first.

A helpful hint to keep in mind when using the location search is that County Road is abbreviated with CR, Township Road with TR, and State Route is abbreviated with SR.
